India: Cobra launches premium beer in Mumbai

Cobra Beers announced on May 4 the launch of super premium beer in Mumbai. It will be distributed in Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Goa, Pune and Kolkata over the next three months.

Karan Bilimoria, Chief Executive, Cobra Beer, said, "It has been my dream to brew Cobra beer in India again. Cobra Beer is brewed to an authentic Indian recipe, using the finest natural ingredients. With its blend of barley malt, malt and rice, the beer is extra smooth and less gassy whilst retaining a premium strength of just under 5%. It is priced at Rs50 and Rs30 for a 650ml and 330ml bottle respectively in Mumbai.
